Maintenance tips for a longer service life
Good maintenance starts with short, regular checks by the operator. That keeps the machine reliable and gives the workshop early sight of parts that need attention.
Daily operator check
After every use, check the tanks, filters, brushes, hoses and squeegee blades. Dirt left behind can restrict airflow, cause odours and accelerate wear.
- Empty the dirty-water tank and leave it open to dry
- Remove the filters and clean them as instructed
- Remove hair and thread from the brushes
Battery and charging area
Always use the right charger and provide a dry, ventilated charging area. Do not interrupt charging cycles unnecessarily and follow the instructions for lead-acid, gel or lithium technology.
- Check the charging plug and cable
- Keep ventilation openings clear
- Note any noticeably short run times
Replace wear parts in time
Brushes, pads, squeegee blades and filters are designed to wear. Replacing them at the right time preserves the cleaning result and prevents unnecessary strain on motors, pumps or floors.
- Compare wear left and right
- Use the right hardness and material type
- Keep the part number and machine model
Plan preventive service
Record operating hours, faults and replacements carried out. Combine operator checks with periodic inspection by the workshop, matched to operating hours, environment and dust or moisture load.
- Log operating hours and fault codes
- Schedule service before busy seasons
- Have safety functions tested under load
